missingWrote a review on 15 Novcentral locationunique characteroutdated accommodations
The central location offers easy access to gorgeous beach walks and local cafes. The hotel retains some original features dating back over 300 years, lending a unique character to the atmosphere.
The accommodations felt outdated, with worn carpets and unstable toilet seats. Limited breakfast options were available, and a significant wait for mediocre food marred the dining experience. Several rooms had issues like loose fixtures and inadequate sound insulation from the bar area, making for an uncomfortable stay at times.

A charming stay by the sea
Our stay was enriched by the charming historical ambiance of the Royal Hotel. The staff were particularly engaging, creating a warm community vibe. The location allowed easy access to picturesque coastal walks.
The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, and it would have been nice to have more detailed information available in our room regarding amenities. Some areas of the hotel felt a bit worn, needing updates.

The food here is worth mentioning. the fish and chips looked as good as they tasted, and the steak orders were also a hit at my table. The menu is diverse with local dishes. They accommodated a custom request for a child’s meal, which was a nice touch.
The Wi-Fi is a mess, barely working in rooms unless you connect in the corridor, and even then, it's spotty. The noise from the bar and other guests made it hard to catch some shut-eye, and I found the room itself in need of real updating, especially since the door wouldn’t lock properly. Low water pressure in the shower made the experience less than ideal, and I noticed a lack of basic amenities, like hangers.
